Over the last three years I have been the Landscape Manager for Sandals Royal Bahamian Resort, Spa and Off Shore Island. A-1 Tree Services is the best Tree Care Company I have ever worked with anywhere. From the start they have been knowledgeable, flexible and their prices are very reasonable. Whenever Sandals had A-1 come out and look at a problem, they have always given intelligent, forward thinking, sound horticultural advice. Being a resort there are a lot of factors that a contractor might have to work around, guests, employees traffic, restaurant hours, working close to guest rooms. And each time they have been able to work around these issues and still deliver the highest standards of work. The first time A-1 worked at Sandals was just after a hurricane. The property had a lot of damaged trees; one very large tree had fallen over in front of one of the villas (six rooms) blocking all access to the building. They came out quickly, where very professional and helpful. Also the pricing for quick, emergency removal of such a large tree was no different than it would have been under any other circumstances. Working with A-1 Tree Services and Joy has been one of the best experiences during my time as a landscape professional. They see what needs to be done, quote a fair price and do a great job. They're very tall and they were loaded with coconuts and limbs. Joy Burrows arrived yesterday afternoon, had a look, gave a price to which we agreed to. This morning her men and truck arrived and they did an amazing job!! All three Coconut trees look great and all the coconuts and limbs have been taken away, the area swept and clean. One tree was above power lines coming into the house as well as BTC and Cable. They're still up and working!!! I'm very pleased with them and would recommend them to anyone. If you need trees trimmed then give them a call, and do it soon, NOT a few days before a storm is about to hit!!

Many of the owners here live in the US where tree-cutting is controlled by the Authorities and we are delighted to have found someone at last with the knowledge, care and resources to prune even very large trees properly without “topping” or otherwise destroying them.
